our lass is looking at buying a 2008 q7 that has blue tooth installed but because of the age of the vechile it wont Bluetooth stream music but been looking at ebay

I can't help with your question I'm afraid but do some research on Q7 sunroof leaking before you take the plunge, a good mate of mine has effectively had his written off because of this issue.  :sad:

it's ok as it hasnt got a sunroof  :happy2:

I have an entire wiring harness from a Q7 in the loft somewhere.   My Audi dealer mate gave it to me years ago because I like to harvest the connectors from shagged looms  :smiley:    Anyway, that was the fix for a wiring fault in a customers car.   Couldn't fix it for love nor money, so had to put an entire new harness in.   Crazy expensive job.

The MK1 Q7 / Toureg / Cayenne, along with the MK1 Audi RS6 are well renowned for being wallet busters.    Electrical gremlins and air suspension woes mainly.

Plus they are horrible obnoxious machines I end up being stuck behind for miles, so can't see what's going on up ahead.
