Daft Question? bootlid transport...
« on: January 31, 2018, 11:35:40 pm »
This may seem a daft question but I'm looking to know if anyone has ever transported a removed boot lid from a gti/R32 in their own car? (with seats down etc obv) I haven't had time to go measure it up properly but essentially I'm after a roof spoiler as mine has been damaged and removed from my Ed30...problem is I quite like the look of it kinda flush but I keep the car OEM so really need one back on and I have an option of a fully colour coded boot lid and spoiler for good cash.

I'm not buying it from the stealers since they are about £300, the aftermarket ones don't even cross my mind as they are crap.

I'm from outside Glasgow and need to get it in Manchester but I'm down that way this weekend anyway.

Just want to know if it would fit.. any help is appreciated cheers.
