How Best to Fill a Glass Cooking Oil Drizzler Thingy.......
« on: March 04, 2018, 06:31:01 pm »
Random this, and a bit different, so in the right section......

Right, wifey bought one of these fancy cooking oil glass bottles, with the chrome drizzler top, from the cookshop bit at Debenhams. All good so far, good idea, perhaps........until you try to fill it up with cooking oil. The plastic 1 Litre vegetable oil (sunflower - whatever you use) containers are so flimsy, that whenever I try to fill it up, the container just crumples, spewing out a quarter of the bottle of cooking oil all over the side of the fancy glass drizzler and all over the kitchen sink, and it's a nightmare to clean up.....

So, any cheffies out there, please, that can give me some tips on pouring techniques from these stupidly thin and flimsy containers. Happens every single time. Not tried the funnel out of the garage yet, ha ha!

Any suggestions, please?

Cheers chaps, in anticipation.....
