Evening all, I've had my Gti for 3 years now, managed to clock up 148K so far with very little problem. Full main dealer services every year and 10,000 miles.
I don't plan on selling the car any time soon because I love it.
Ideas on what sort of things I can do to prolong the life of it? Getting to the point now where things can start going wrong very quickly.
Cam chain and tensioner is my first port of call.
Fuel pump cam follower.
Worth removing the inlet manifold to check for carbon build up on the back of valves?
Thanks, Brad.
