No power to headunit
« on: February 21, 2018, 07:25:10 pm »
Evening all,

so the story is my alpine unit was working fine from to speakers. Got a new aux lead to opened it all up to put that in and the aerial came out and front speakers stopped working. Opened again couple days later and this time after some jiggling on the golf harness not the headunit isos and the unit stopped powering up at all.

Checked with meter on the + and - cables on the golf harness and nothing, now i havent even got the manual and all the pictures of the fuse diagrams are confusing as hell

The unit def working as i connect a wire from battery to unit and it powered up fine, hoping its the fuse and not the wiring in the car itself so really need a hand on this please ppl

thanks
