how much was postage micky. seems a good little site.  might look into getting a new lambda sensor and map sensor from here as well

Can't remember to be honest, i got them just before xmas but in total it worked out something like 21 euro each including post. Excahnge rates may be different but i'd say it will work out half the price from a dealer anyway. Are you having misfire problems? My car is running sweet now.

was looking in the checkout section https://www.dbcperformance.com/one-page-checkout.asp  postage is about the same cost as 4 coil packs. yeah i have misfires. chnged the maf but to no avail. i just want to elliminate all things from the equation

Found an email with qouted price. It was $125 delivered for the 4 of them, which at the moment is £80 sterling (£20each). When i ordered them before xmas the exchange was £73 dollar was weaker. I PM'd the seller direct on the US forum to see what the best he could do with post, try that... Have you ruled out coils? If not it could be your problem.

I didn't go through the website. I PM'd the seller directly on the GTI american forum and asked what was the best he could do with postage and then paypalled him. His user name is DBCperformance

When i first fitted these yesterday i was getting random little missfires at WOT that as the miles went up they got less and less until they disappeared so i thought it was an adaption thing, but this morning they came back again. I'm not sure what to think whether they aren't suited to the application or maybe a spark plug is not great ( 30k on them). Others have had no problems fitting them so it might not be related to the RS4 coils but i'd hold off from ordering until i see what's causing the misfires.

Going to change the plugs tonight. I got Bosch YTTRIUM plus. Will report back if it gets rid of the misfire.

Replaced plugs and the slight misfire ( intermittent) at WOT is still there.. The red coils aren't to blame they are the same just a different colour. ECS tuning are doing a special on them for 79 dollars a set..

I have cured the misfire :popcornsoda:. Turned boost from 8 to 7 and it stopped. Air temps may be a little low for 8 with an EVOM's on my car.
