Steering whee change
« on: August 23, 2020, 11:10:21 pm »
Hi all,

I’m looking at changing the steering wheel in my 54 plate mk5 gti to a MFSW, I’m looking at either the mk6 or 7 wheels with the multi function what is involved? What do I need? Is it worth the agro? I’m a bit new to all this so a dummies guide would be great! Thank you

I have put together parts for same conversion. Did you get yours installed?
I ended up getting wheel, airbag, ring, module, left mkVI stem. Had my tuning shop do the VagCom since mine was a mfsw w/ dsg. All turned out great and love the upgraded look.

Eddie NL can do this for you, he’s not on here much any more though so may be hard to get hold of.
