Cloned key fobs for mk5?
« on: April 12, 2018, 11:22:46 am »
Hi Guys, does anyone know of a situation where thieves are cloning key fobs?  My mk5 GTI was was entered despite being locked, always press the button twice to get the deadlocks on

Alarm still sounds loud as i tested it this morning, so it wasn't opened with a key as that sets it off

I was thinking maybe as these cars are a bit old now then the encryption codes for the fobs are leaked on the web?

thanks!
