Looking for some NQSBBK owners - OZ ultral. 17'' ET35
« on: May 05, 2018, 10:26:41 am »
Hi, thinking of buying myself a new set of summer rims.. Some OZ ultra R17 / ET35 /8'' wide

Anyone know if these will clear over the Passat/cupra/s3 alloy hubs and Porsche 986 calipers?

I should imagine you would be fine given the extra 16mm of ET clearance and 312mm discs. Arch clearance may be the bigger concern since your wheels are now sticking out 22mm wider but that will also depend on your suspension drop.

Should easily clear the Porsche brake calipers with that offset as I'm running 17x7 ET43 wheels on mine and there's plenty of clearance. Though as Colesey said those wheels will protrude well over the arches unless you roll it.

The Passat alloy hubs and wishbones isn't giving same wide track as the TT mk2 ones does.. Think my track is about 4mm wider each side with this setup..
Guess it will clear fine then - I'm never gonna understand the meaning of those damn rim specs :jumpmove:

The TT hubs and wishbones gives 22-23mm wider track on each side, guess that would mean trouble if you don't run with some wide front arches hehe
