Plug hanging loose
« on: April 30, 2018, 02:47:30 pm »

Can anyone tell me what this plug is from the photo? It was just hanging free so obviously I plugged it in.

Cheers

If you plugged it in, what did you plug it in to?

I have no idea. An empty socket close to it

That cable with the green crusties could do with replacing really.

Looks about where the reverse light switch is located on the gearbox

Spot on, thank you! My reverse light has been out for a week or so, plugged that cable in now it’s working. Strange that it just came un plugged.

Wouldn’t that mean replacing the whole loom?

It should positively 'clip' in to place. If it doesn't then its likely either the plug or the connector on the switch is damaged.

It clipped perfectly into place when I plugged it back in. How weird
