It's not an Audi so you can rule out the S3 or RS3

Well today the Mk6 went and I picked up the first of two cars.

Introducing the new daily driver: -

2.0TDI 140 Sport DSG, with virtually no extras but very low miles ready for me to stick 40k on it in the next 12 months  :rolleye:

While I will miss the Mk6 I won't miss my fuel bills, on the way to the garage today the Mk6 got 31.2MPG on a mixed run, the same journey back in the Jetta was 49.8MPG, estimate it will save me at least £300 a month  :pomppomp:

First mod already completed, the install of an RNS-510 LED

New project car should be sorted by the end of May

Aha! So this is why you were after a MK5 jetta/golf front and rns-510, right?

Are you going to fit a reversing camera?

Any pics of the interior?

I expect the second vehicle to be a little less, er, frugal with fuel!  :driver:

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

^^^ Basically yes about the bumper and RNS.

Yes work in underway to make a RVC kit for it, No moving badge on the Jetta though  :sad1:

Interior is very basic: -

But looks better with the RNS in: -

A Mk6 Steering wheel and maybe a highline dash will sort out the interior

Correct the new project isn't about efficiency

No heated seats?
Does it have aircon?
Midline dash.
No MFSW.
No cruise control.

Did you buy a poverty spec or something?  :P
It's a big drop from your MK6 spec. What are you doing about audio, other than a HU? Surprised you sold your sub - unless you're doing a proper install?  :scared:

Look foward to seeing what your gonna purchase as the weekend car steve, If its Vw as you say it will be, im sure it will be another TFSI/TSi or maybe 2 extra coilpacks as standard of some sort  :happy2:

Very nice jetta, and that will keep lots more money in the pot  on a monthly basis, thats untill the other one uses up what youve gained im sure

 :notworthy:

Yep it was more about the price and the mileage this one, I will retro fit the important stuff

Audio will be sorted with a proper install over time.

Hmmm. Methinks that my theory that I discussed with Saint Steve may well be coming true.

Steve knows what I'm guessing - 1st part was about spot on (I say about as I didn't guess it would have a boot!) - 2nd part may come true too :innocent:
Golf R gone.
