very nice look forward to seeing the mods evolve. but surely some of the mods would have just transfered straight over wouldnt they?? intake, exhaust coilovers...

Some of it was transferable, but would not put a few of the things I had on my ED30 on a car again so am starting afresh  :happy2:

Such a shame about the Eddie gone to visit the big man in the sky.  :sad1:

But a new chapter begins. So let the modding madness begin.

Nice choice Steve and good to see you never bolted from the VAG stable (not that I ever thought you would mind ).
Look forward to seeing the build thread and awaiting the results of how the MkVI responds to certain levels of mods..
You likely to upgrade the turbo at a later date do you think?

I like the ED30 better....still very nice though, looking forward to the new project. Can you not change the pulley on the supercharger ala Mini Cooper S or is that a no go?  :ashamed:

Mk  GTI = turbo = exhaust gases drives turbo.
Supercharger = engine crankshaft driven via pulley, pulley can be changed to raise Boost; turbo = no pulley

Over the top mod list ;o)
