Ok, here's the real development from ITG.

Myself and the media whore Wigit went up to see the air-filtration guru that is Andy @ ITG  :notworthy: :notworthy:

This is a development version of what's going to become there Mk6 K03 intake. Based on a smaller filter than the TFSI kit that is enclosed in the aluiminum housing. This attaches to the stock maf housing and remaining intake pipework. There is some where work scheduled to improve the rest of the stock intake pipework but for a first attempt development it I am over the moon  :happy2:

Here's a quick pic's

Previously my car had recorded peak airflow across the maf of 197g/s, immediately this has increased to a new peak of 213g/s from the logging I did on my way home, so a very health increase of a stage 1 mapped car.  :happy2:

So according to intake flow that equates to around a 20bhp increase at stage 1 over stock intake.....sweeeet!
Golf R gone.

Love the rear lights.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

If I'm interpreting what I see correctly that ITG is looking very exciting and encloses the filter.

As others have said, the R tails are very stylish indeed.

very nice Steve  :congrats:
The question is, are ITG now going to retro modify the mk5 kit to use an enclosed design?

....That would really tidy things up and dispel all my criticisms of the Mk5's ITG.

I hadn't noticed what the sticker said until you pointed it out - Very subtle and very funny. It's the sticker covering up the 'Thermos' stamping isn't it? Don't worry, I'm only taking the piss. It all looks very promising  :happy2:

Looks brilliant Steve, one thing that I'm interested in is can you actually feel the XDS doing anything when pushing the car?
If you have to ask why, you'll never understand.

Umm not really like a conventional diff, but as a stock car the Mk6 handles better and feels sharper than the Mk5  :happy2:
