The future is indeed bright!

How does the ITG sound?

It has some of the whoosh / wastegate chatter but nothing like the Mk5 kit  :sad1:

steve- yours is the most sorted mk6 ive seen and i drooled over a blue R the other day too mate, just loving the mods!
the lip is so clean and the exhaust is just fcuking wow!
but for me........ these wheels are full of win!!
hope you kept them?
Finally got my VWR TD's sorted today with new Michelin PS3

matsu

Steve, Love the VMR TD's.... they really do suit your car. Are they 18x8, if so do they extend out much past the front wheel arch?

Thanks MAW73

Yes they are 8x18's with a 45 offset so sit perfectly in the arch, and even with the lowering springs I get no rubbing (now the front arch screw mod has been sorted).

It can be done if you fit a smaller battery or move it to the boot, but it is a lot of hassle to effectively reduce the noise. I have been suprized how quiet the ITG has been on my car until today, when i changed my revo settings, and it has gone noticeably louder  :chicken:

Next up and probably my best value for money is a bit of an audio upgrade.

The car already has the awesome dynaudio package but the bass was too much for the door speakers, so cue an ebay bargain to sort this.

And the finished install

Now with bass turned down by half on the RNS the sound is awesome, great separation and lots of sharp and punchy bass  :pomppomp:
