Right wots going on here people having a go at my J Hook Discs
- they took me for ever with a hammer and chisel Robin
Its actually very simple - the 286 disc is the smallest disc we've had to program and the J's are physically the smallest ones that have had to have been machined, with the cutter repositioning every 20th of a mm then they have a condensed size in which to appear smooth.
The other point to to mention is that they are supposed to be staggered as one scavenges and one vents and with a limited amount of room (diameter and swept area) it took some careful planning
A 1000 miles wear and some pad material in there will see them looking great with the edges being a little less defined.
Besides its about performance - other users reporting non empirical improved stopping especially in the wet for some reason (Im still getting my head around that one) and good road manners as evidently they are quieter with no swooshing over the straight grooves
Offer still stands Steve - stood here dutifully with a paint brush if you decide on a less Teflon like colour
Cars looking great Steve
