How Bizzare.
« on: March 03, 2010, 04:49:09 pm »
Wondered if anyone could help and has this happened to you.

My back bulb went monday (Bulb light came on). So i go to halfords and bought a new one, fitted it and all was fine light was working and (Bulb light) went off.
However when i got into my car Tuesday morning started the car up and Engine managment came on .

Rang the garage up to get it in for a diognostics check is going to do it saturday morning,BUT got into car after finishing work started it up and engine managment was no longer on and (Bulb light) came back on,so took keys out of ignition and put them back in and started car up again and there is no lights on now  :rolleye:.

Should i still take it into garage or do you think it was just becouse i have fitted a new bulb?

The problem with the designated driver program, it's not a desirable job. But if you ever get sucked into doing it, have fun with it. At the end of the night, drop them off at the wrong house.

If it works, don't mend it.

Sounds as if it merely hiccup'd on the systems check. But keep a watchful eye and take her in if it happens again.

Mr GTI Turbo. Do you live close to or know anyone with VCDS (VAG-COM)?

....I don't know if we should tell you.

What do I hear approaching on The Nordschleife Of The North?.. Is it a train?.. Is it a plane?..

Didn't someone mention battery condition/charge and these hickups?

Sure VCDS will highlight any problems
