If the clutch packs were knackered you wouldn't get gears so I was told by the guys in Bristol last week as we had a skoda Octavia in with no reverse gear!!

It is too late to change anything now, the car is in for a new pack, should be ready tomorrow. I'll update you after.

So far so good. I’ve done about 300km with the new clutch in. Everything seems back to normal. In first gear/reverse I don’t have to rev too much to move and the shifts are smooth and fast again.

The old one seems fried:

I’ve kept the duty cycle to 30% from the boost controller. Now the concern is what will happen if I go to 80% again...

About 450 euros without installation.

Teo - did the garage perform the DSG calibration drive?  It can take 20-30 minutes to do properly, and is extremely specific with its procedure.

Hey, yes they told me they did a calibration, but I don't know if they did the drive.
Unfortunately the second clutch started slipping in less than 1000 miles, I was about to change it again but after doing some research I've changed the DSG  tuner. Now it is a lot more aggressive, but it properly holds my torque and survived a time attack race.
