yep its purely cosmetic no benefits what so ever, a bit like putting a gti front on a gt  :wink: :P

The Evoms engine cover was designed to use the silver centre section of the original oem cover, which is why I asked if you were going to fit it, as it makes the cover look a hundred times better.

No worries James. The original will just clip off, and then all you need to do is clip it on to the new one.  :happy2:

Sorry, I have to butt in as this conversation is driving me nuts  :jumping:  Its not an aesthetic mod JPC - the OEM cover doesn't fit with the EVOMS intake - and I guess with the DBLIAS one either.

I assumed people knew that the air intake was integral to the oem cover, therefore the cover will not fit with any aftermarket intake, rendering it useless (without modding).

The evoms cover is an aesthetic mod though.  :wink:

ohhhh right...well i can understand that now. fair does, well if its a better intake, it doesnt really matter what it all looks like
