Removing front & rear ARB DIY?

Are there any guides on here for removing the front and rear anti roll bars. My bushes need doing and I want to powder coat them as the paint is flaking.

Thanks! Dropping the subframe for the fronts seems like a ball ache way of doing it. Probably that or spend an hour trying to wiggle it out

I think it’s the ONLY way to do it unfortunately.  I can’t see the bar coming out any other way, and obviously an alignment will be required afterwards, which the ECS video fails to mention. And the replacement of numerous stretch bolts.

On top of that, on some cars the bush brackets are part of the arb itself and need curtting off. 

I would recommend fitting the rear bar yourself as it’s easy, just be careful in the wet and in high speed corners.  Then save up a number of front end jobs and get the front one done at that time.

Its easy if you have a 4 post lift...... not so easy if you are trying to do it f*cking about on axle stands.

I don't know about other brands of ARB, but Eibach ship theirs with clamps/bushes prefitted to the troublesome front bar, which cuts out a lot of faffing about

Thanks for the help. I'll do the rear one myself and get the car on a ramp to do the front. I was planning on getting the alignment done after as it was the alignment guys that suggested doing the bushes before they done the alignment as the bushes were worn.

I was going to do the subframe spacer kit bolts so the subframe would need slightly dropping for that anyway. What other bolts are stretch bolts that would need undoing and replacing?
