Test drive an edition30 mate you'll love it,budget for about £500 and get it remapped you won't belive it. Although you will become strangely obsessed with your gti
and theres no cure....... Youve been warned

Edition 30 FAQ

if you can afford it, then the ED30 is the one to get as it has a bigger turbo so the remap potential is just that little bit higher...
however a remapped GTI is no slouch either so either way youll have a great car  :happy2:

agree with others try DSG / manual both have advantages  :happy2:

Thanks alot for all the welcomes and advice.

I must admit i've never had a car stock for long, and each time i've said no mods, so may aswell admit it now  :party:

I will be looking for a car with manufacturers warranty, will the ECU mods show up in case of a problem? As in can the ECU be reflashed back to it's factory settings using a laptop?
