Opened Car Door on Garage Tap...Grrrrr
« on: September 28, 2018, 02:54:07 pm »
As title, so cross with myself, as I didn't put the car in the garage far enough and just opened it on the sodding tap. Small dent right on the edge of the door near handle, where the door skin folds around the door frame. Any thoughts on how easy is might be to get removed? It's quite shallow, but being right on the edge, with the fold, I'm wondering how they will get behind it to push it out, and I cant see the sucker thingies doing it on the edge. Car is otherwise dent free, so I'm really hacked off with myself..... No break in the paint. Any suggestions, please?

You can remove the entire door skin and repair it that way.  It just unbolts.   Self inflicted damage is annoying isn't it.  I knocked a ladder over onto one of my cars years ago. I was not best pleased with myself

As Pudding has mentioned......its 16 to 18 bolts and a handle to remove before the skin comes off.
