headunit help
« on: November 26, 2018, 10:46:58 pm »
Hi guys I got a Mk5 Golf Jetta and I'm looking to upgrade the head unit but there are a few cheap ones on eBay copies rcd510 with Bluetooth DAB and DVD functions for £250 and I'm just wondering if these units are any good or can anyone recommend a better uni?
The genuine RNS don't have Bluetooth as standard.
Can anybody advise me as I've been made aware that the eBay cheaper units do have the canbus to prevent battery drain

Cheers

I’ve got a android a-sure 7inch screen in my gti and it’s the best thing I’ve done, don’t bother with the 510 all sorts of trouble if you get a Chinese copy as the suffer battery drain issues, I payed 160 for mine and it’s awesome.......a-sure the brand I’ve bought is actually really good quality 😎👍🏻

I Went for a pioneer AVIC unit from satnavdeals on ebay (after loking on here) very happy with it. The sound is excellent and the seller made sure I had all the right cables too.
