RNS 510 and OEM BT
« on: February 15, 2010, 11:17:32 pm »
Just installed the OEM BT unit under the drivers seat and notice that now I get an additional source on the media screen (a BT symbol). Can't find amy refernce to it it the manual and its greyed out so currently not doing anything. I's hazard a guess that you can perphaps stream music from a phone ?? Anyone know anything??

Yes, it's the bluetooth audio. You can play tunes from your phone over bluetooth. Go into the system menu and turn on the option. (At least, that#s what you need to do on an RCD510, which I assume is the same)

Ok I've found in the media menu a option to enabel auto play of BT source, which I've now enabled, but still the symbol is geryed out.

How do I play from the phone??

I don't know yet, but I will find out as I am installing my premium bluetooth now

How do you get the cables from behind the head unit to under the seat??
