Anyone painted GTI calipers ?

Hi all

My front caliper seized so I had to get it replaced.  Got it done at kwik-fit and they couldn't source a red one to match the others.
I wondered if anyone has had them sprayed / painted red ?
The caliper they have replaced it with is also a rougher texture, so will probably need smoothing down.

put on new rear calipers last year, painted them in standard caliper paint from halfords, worked a treat, quick wipe down with soapy water and gave a couple of coats with a brush, no need to mast off etc with the brush, 6 months on still looking sweet. they dont need to be perfect, there going to get coatded in tons of brake crap very quickly, unless your one of those OCD cleaning types
