hi all new here with a strange problem on my 05 gti it starts then dies instantly then the exclamation light flashes an the dash beeps three times a friend used a small handheld scanner an came up with three codes p0230 p0686 p0688

It’s the fuel pump control module at a guess with them codes, cheap enough to do and if you ask on here nice enough someone may now what to do and how to test the continuity going to/from the sensor............or possibly crank sensor?!?!? Get a proper diagnostic report off someone with Vag com or equivalent as that will help pin point it loads easier
