My New GTi 2006

Any tips for a new owner won this in a competition for twenty quid heavily modified 76 k miles engine rebuild at 50 k with a shed load of upgraded S3 and rs4 internals RSS k04 turbo it's a rocket ship was thinking on selling it on but it's an addictive thing any advice would be appreciated thx

That is one nicely done GTI  :smiley:  What chin spoiler is that?  Looks deeper than ED30.  Really suits it.

My advice:  part it out and give me first refusal on the seats  :grin:

What kind of competitions are you entering... I wana be part of them!

Lovely car mate.

As for ownership of a gti... pretty solid and only a few things that you need to be aware of.. simply type into google mk5 gti common problems and you’ll come across all the stuff you’ll need to know. Nothing major!

It’s the gremlins that appear and you can’t get to the bottom of... they’re the worst! But hopefully you’ll never come across those... usually the seats go faulty due to wrong owner right pudding?

Enjoy it mate, very nice! Serious weapon.

In your case though, being so modified... be prepared for a lot of those unknown gremlins I was referring to.
