Hi, Newbie From Northampton (Big Read & Pics)

Hi all,

My name is Sunny and from Northampton.

I'm not new to the MK5 Golf scene and nor do i own a VW at the moment :( BUT i'm on the look out to buy a MK5 GTI now :D

My previous MK5 was an R32 and it was the best car i've ever owned and driven (excluding Gallardo, F430 and R8 V10 which i've also driven)

Sadly i sold the R32 back in August 2009 as i was buying a house then, so i sold it and bought a BMW E46 330ci Convertible M-Sport as my daily run about to free up some cash towards the house.....as my money was limited due to the house i then decided that i missed the VW scene and decided to downgrade dramatically and i sold the BMW in December 2009 and bought a already modified MK6 VW Polo 1.2 with air suspension and few other bits couple days after the BMW...i ran that 200miles and yet again sold that which went last week 9th Feb 10.

I got a promotion at work which now enables me to spend £11k freely on a car, and i have my heart set on a Manual 3dr MK5 GTI for the price bracket i have......I've been searching a couple weeks now for 1 on pistonheads and ED38 forum but i just cant make my mind up on which colour to go for and find right spec...i'm stuck between, Candy White, Tornado Red and Black Magic Pearl   also i'm abit picky with the spec i want, must have Xenons, Electric Folding Mirrors and Highline Computer and the car must be mint conditon   .....i would love the Edition 30 but they seem to expensive so will have to be the original 200bhp version and then tune the engine.

If anyone knows of a car for sale with my spec please let me know, as i need a GOLF back in my life

and it's final mod with matt-chrome brushed effect wing mirrors

The modding bug kicked in and i ended up lowering it, LED rear lights, M3 Spoiler, M3 Mirrors, Sound system, 19" BBS LMs lol here's the outcome

the LMs were 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear it was lowered on Eibach Pro Kit springs
i bought all my parts from www.bmstyling.co.uk and got good prices as i was on www.e46zone.com

and also can someone describe the feeling when driving a GTI? e.g my R32 used to push me back into my seat and had constant power through all 6 gears....the GTi has a turbo so wondering the if you can feel the turbo kick in....youtube video cant really tell

Yeah must of seen the R32 and BMW about last year, the polo i've only driven twice in Northampton and that was at night

i love the red GTI's once they are modded where abouts in Northampton are you? any pics of yours?
