Dust Shield MK5 Golf

Anybody got a photo of their GTI with the dust shield removed? I want to know if there are a lot of things exposed. Will appreciate a photo with the wheel on.

I removed mine off the back since they rusted away and were rubbing on the disk I can grab a photo if you'd like?

Yes please. A photo would be great. I have a friend that says the removall will expose a lot from behind the disc. I dont agree. Just wanted to see before I remove it. Also did you remove them yourself? If so, then how?

I used some long nose mole grips on the shield, pull, push, pull, push, TA DA !
