I'm generalising [which means I can say what the fuk I like and get away with it], but some Seat drivers seem to think they've got something to prove whenever they come across a GTI. I tend to slow down and ignore them, let them get on with it.

Left work tonight, driving steady and a Leon Cupra R 54reg gets behind me, fog lights on just to look that extra sporty I guess. Anyway, turns on to a good straight bit of road and after me taking no notice(engine still cold) he bats past me and puts his hazards on, Why? Anyway he goes off, then when he realises I'm still ignoring him, he slows in a village waiting for me to catch up. He then proceeds to go really slow! Guess he wanted to show me his rear Cupra R badge. Am I missing something or do they seem to have a complex?? I had a similar incident with a Leon FR a few weeks back.

 :congrats:

SEAT drivers

No way! Going by what the OP has posted its obvious the SEAT driver is an unworthy chav not worth the petrol to have a quick blast, enthusiast to enthusiast! My night time exploits attracts 700hp skylines, a rs4 driven by a ex rally driver who likes to drift round roundabouts, the new GTR, tons of hothatches, audi r8's, 997 turbos, M3's, AMG's and countless big bhp classics like the oldschool cossies ans v8 powered volvos.

Lowly mk1 SEAT leons driven by a baseball cap wearing chav wouldnt even get a look in  :signLOL:

You just book yourself on a SEAT trackday and drive around them all like they're rolling chicanes.

Idiots are simply just that, no matter what they drive. I stay well away from people like that.

So what does that say?

Couldnt afford two audi's  :rolleye:

I remember when I was at the Surrey rolling road, and as we were leaving there were these Golf GTI's chasing after this SEAT, think they wanted danGBs 400hp Leon to play aswell, but we didnt take the bait. We didnt feel the need to take part in that inferior complex game

absolutely!! on my list at the time of buying the golf was a K1, Edition 30, S3 or Focus ST.

Almost bought an S3 but it had the recaro buckets and there was no way i would have got the wee mans car seat past them. As it turns out two weeks after i looked at it my mate bought it for his misses!

Eventually saw my Ed 30 and it ticked all the boxes plus its got a few extra toys on it from the factory so bought it!
