Not in the old ones - exactly the same. I used to own one and have been in an S3.

Well that is news to me never seen the inside of an old S3, but I know that dash as the Leon MK1, and I really am not its biggest fan (especially in shiny plastic form  ) If I was sitting with that in front of me, I would be looking out of my windows for things to race!

If you are getting in to the whole SEAT interior thing on the MK1 Leon, remember it had the uprated TT K04 engine and Brembo brakes over the MK4 Golf 1.8T

The snobbishness of the odd VW fanatic about other VAG marks kinda bugs my happiness to be honest especially when Audi is the premium brand in the group

i actually reckon that looks better than the current cupra interior.  Love the cupra from the outside but couldnt stand the inside.

I agree, my money was almost down on a K1 in black with black wheels 10 months ago but I just couldn't because of the interior quality.  I'm told the facelift has improved plastic quality?
