VCDS needed to retrofit xenons?
« on: January 30, 2019, 03:57:08 pm »
Hi, I have kufatec adaptors and complete xenons that I want to retrofit to my GTI.

If I'm not wiring up the shutter do I still need VCDS to get the xenons working once fitted?

Need to code it as xenons installed without shutters otherwise you’ll get error on dash

Not only error, but the xenons will flicker like all's hell. Like @coolhandluke says - "disco time"!  :pomppomp:
