Should be fine, its only got to undo a plastic housing which should be pretty loose.

Halfords stock them. IIRC wasn’t much more than the cheap eBay ones.

I brought the cheap ebay one x amount of years ago.. done the job on my last GTI no problem! the oil filter housing is like 7nm of torque or sumin, so not tight at all.. if you're feeling manly enough you could probably hand wrench it haha!

Answer: the low profile socket from ebay will do the job perfect! :happy2:
