Joined up to pick your brains.
I am looking to buy an Edition 30.
What do i have to look out for ?
Dsg or manual ?
Must have fsh .
Are high miles an issue ?

Welcome to the forum Dave  :happy2:

Lots of things to look out for, main one being looking through invoices and make sure it has had regular oil services, DSG should have been serviced every 40k miles, make sure cambelt & waterpump have also been done around the 40-60k mark. Check sills and arches for rust. Easy enough to tell upon inspecting these whether they have been well cared for or not. Well worth looking over the forums and facebook pages for an enthusiast owned one before delving into ebay/autotrader etc.

I thought I had found one in Leicester but they wanted to charge me £149 admin fee and wouldn’t budge on the price. I think they were called Parkway or something similar.

Not the best time of year to buy/sell cars so may be worth holding out till you find the right one.
