Eibach Pro Spring Kit - Damper issue?

(1/3) > >>

tomhighcliffe:
I've read through all the old threads on these springs and I'm pretty much certain that I'm going to buy them, they seem the right next mod for me,

A few people raised the issue of shortened life to the dampers due to bottoming out or any other causes (I'll be the first to admit I'm not that well up on suspension mods)

Has anybody experienced this? What happened to the damper, was it costly to repair if it failed? any information would be gratefully received?

Cheers

Tom

JPC:
it can happen after a lot of use, but ive had mine on from day one and done about 27000 miles on them and they still seem fine! ;)

Couldn't of asked for a better reply, I now have no reason not to buy them

NB07:
if they do eventually go then there is a good excuse for coilovers  :innocent:

Damian @ DPM:
It's always best to get matched springs and shocks but with the Eibach springs being quite a small drop you should be fine.
