Interested in your point of view on that, as I own a ed30 and almost bought a r32 at the time I was looking, but as I already have a vr6 and didn’t want the extra costs plus I think the ed30 looks better apart from the exhausts.

Very subtle differences
My 1st r32 was manual and superior in every way to my dsg 2nd
The ed30 is cheaper to run ,service, better on fuel ,not as nose heavy, batter wheels ,classic interior suits the dsg better in my opinion also if I had to say it faster
Only thing I miss is the exhaust note( certainly not the £500 tax)
Both r32s were dbp and stunning
All my opinion of course and widely debated throughout the tinterweb

I must say the looks of the ED30 won it for me, just wasn’t a real big fan of the grill on the r32 I thought it let it down a bit. The road tax on the ED30 is £290 now! Was £245 when I first got it, so not to bad I guess .
Never had a r32 get past me yet!
Yes the sound of the engine and exhaust is cracking, but I quite like a four pot turbo reminds me of my r5 GT turbo, but better built and no torque steer which is nice
