Best place to get a timing chain kit for my Edition 30?
« on: March 24, 2019, 10:35:12 pm »
I am going to replace my timing chain on my Edition 30 myself, but I need to get all the parts. Have heard that TPS wont sell to the public, so where next to buy? Anyone recommend a source please?

X2 on VW “genuine parts” for piece of mind etc.

Although both my friends have brought the eBay kit for around £100 all in, and seems to be of the same quality and are holding up really well. One of them running the K04 conversion turned up to near 400hp too!

I’m not saying go ebay. But just giving you an idea that in my opinion the kit didn’t look cheap and nasty how I’d expect, and I couldn’t tell the difference between them parts and my genuine parts.

Look up RPS Online on Facebook - guy works at a dealership and his prices are usually cheaper than you'll find elsewhere.

Wow that's not bad at all.  The benefit of a common car.

VW wanted £500 for ONE wing on a Corrado VR6......10 years ago!

I emailed Michael on Michael.Hindle@listers.co.uk - make sure you add "RPS Online Quote" in the subject line to get the RPS pricing.
