Rear caliper bracket bolt
« on: March 29, 2019, 06:33:06 pm »
Anyone had any experience trying to get this little son of a bitch to move? It will not budge. I’ve currently got a breaker bar and a jack to try and get it to move. Really don’t wanna give up yet

Yep they are really tight, best you can do is get into a good position with plenty of swing room and use brute force, I trust your using the correct spline bit?

They are a royal pain in the arse to do on the drive.  I ended up buying a telescopic movable head ratchet which allowed me to have the handle of the rachet above the wheel arch to get the leverage.

Heat it up with a propane torch.  Cheap enough from B&Q etc.
