Anyone know what the front and rear brakes weigh eg: discs, pads, calipers and carriers.  I need to price up to courier them

Cheers in advance

44kg....

Yeh I know.....44KG

If you put two front discs, 1 rear and a rear caliper in one box

and

1 rear disc, 2 front calipers/carriers and the other rear caliper in the other.

It splits the weight nicely and both boxes come in at under 24kg so you can use www.interparcel.co.uk if you price both boxes seperately and use UPS on a non priority service you'll get each box for about £7 + VAT each and they'll 9/10 times get their next day

Cheers Dave, I have to ship these abroad, but that link comes in a lot cheaper than I was previously looking.  Out of interest what box do you use?

If its something like that, staples have some archive boxes that once you've done GCSE Origami make sense!

They are certified to 25kg and also dont exceed any size limitations, becasue when calculating shipping weight its volumetric weight that matters..

So you might be able to send a 1 metre cubed box weighing 5 kg, but the system might only let you send an 80cm cubed boxed at 20kg if you get my drift
