As above, accessible from underneath and stick with the OEM one IMHO.
What are your reasons for suggesting the OEM one? Apart from the price, why not the Forge one?

Pretty much as Tony says, the OEM solution is adequate now so there isn't any need to pay more for a lesser solution.  The Forge one isn't infallible

If you've got one, I'd change it for the D-type piston version even if it isn't broken (which it most likely is) as it'll just go anyway.

£40-ish from the dealers I think?
If you're not in a rush I may end up with a spare DV valve up for grabs in the next week or so...

I have an original dv and have been meaning to replace before it fails, so if you do replace please let me know.

I've got my new valve now (sent the lady out to get it earlier) so I'll be fitting this tomorrow. I'll take photos if anyone is interested in them?

Planning on using those wheel on ramp things.  Hopefully there will be enough room to work under.

Well, i replaced the diverter valve with a new revision OEM one and by god was it a hard job.
It should be simple but as there's no access to the valve from above, below or the side without contorting your body into totally unnatural positions. It took about 3 hours in total, that was about an hour per screw. They were tight from start to finish  :sad1:

Anyway, old verses new valves:
New on the left, old on the right.


And the damage to the old one that was causing the boost leak:


All sorted now and the car runs fine. The engine check light is also out now too  :smiley:
