he means yes they are a good price i.e cheap. And 235 tyres is plenty big enough, 225 45s or 40s would be fine for those alloys

Sorry Matsu!
Yeah, as Howard says, to me they're well priced for reps as they look better than some of the reps I've seen on ebay for £400+ (i.e. like the genuine thing, some look shat).
I think they'll look + sit nicely on yours. Just a bit lost about the centre caps mate, as it looks like they're blank ones on there atm? Be a bit annoying if you can't remove them and have to use stickers?
Pete

it says in the advert badges and fitting kit (bolts) included. generally you specify what badges you would like when you buy them, as some ppl want them to have audi ones so they look genuine, and others want vw badges instead. the centre badge will be removeable, would be very surprised if it isnt. :happy2:

:signLOL: Just say to the missus that there was a problem with the wheels they sent you (imply their mistake), then they sent you a replacement set for you to return originals (cause obviously you cant drive on no wheels!). Some twist on the truth should do!

Are you spraying yourself?

yeah mate. i,m practising on the wrong size set as of today.
sanded using oxide and wet/dry paper-got loads of the kerbing and serious scuffs out-they wont be perfect cos they really were nackered but ive primed and rubbed down two and got them looking pretty clean and smooth with the odd lil mini mark.
ive bought bmw sparkling graphite or something stupid sounding and it looks soooo much better than i thought.
so if the other are beeter condition to start with-should be easier
ill try get a daytime pic tomo and post up.
to be honest this is first proper project i,ve ever done from start to finish and iv really enjoyed it so i might continue to find a cheap set and spray and sell on ebay just for a hobby-also gives me excuse for so many extra sets rims in garage
oh and gonna prob carbon wrap the badges to try bring it all together??
just want to say again thanks for everyones help and sorry to hijack the thread.
