Broken sensor
« on: May 19, 2019, 03:17:35 pm »
Just seen that this sensor looks to be broken, is that normal or does it need replacing and what does it do?

It’s the camshaft adjustment sensor.

@rich83 thank you mate, I’ve had a read up about it. Obviously the N205 needs replacing but would the connector that plugs into still be okay or would that need changing too? Sorry for the incompetence just new to all this!

The actual look connector looks ok so you would just need the sensor.

Yes, just replace sensor. This happened on mine! I think it’s quite common for the sensor connector to break! Just extract the old sensor from the connector plug and fit a new sensor.
