I have recently (800 miles ago) got my car back from a whole new clutch, slave cylinder and gear selector. I had it back 4 day's and it wouldn't go into gear while the engine was running. Turned the engine off and it would go into gear, as soon as i started it in gear with my foot on the clutch the car tried moving. Took it back to the garage for them to look at it but when he looked at it the next day he said it was going in gear fine. I have just had the same problem with it not going in gear so made a phonecall and when i got of the phone it went into gear okay? I have asked a few people and they don't seem to know why it is doing it so any help would be appreciated. Thankyou, Shazza_gti.
