Hey guys as title says my gti has a tick from the engine but the sound gets quieter when brake pedal is pressed in. Not sure what could be causing this. Possibly a vacuum problem ?
Thanks

If there is a hissing sound from the pedals that stops when you press the brake, the vacuum servo is leaking. It won't be the cause of ticking/tapping though.
