Thats stupid money, you could buy a set of brand new set of recarro PPs, mounts and a remap for that !!

Well it was me and I got the guy down to £1795 but unfortunately someone paid £1995 cash for them about 30 mins before I hit buy it now, gutted!

I am ideally on the lookout for Interlagos cloth ones anyway so not to worry! :)

Not worth it imo, nice seats, but not worth 20% of my cars value.

The other guy paid cash in person on a private sale.

Approx 10% of the value of my car, for most of the interior sounded like a decent deal to me!    In all seriousness, my arse did nip a little bit when I made the best offer but I've wanted them for ages so thought what the heck!  Considering some Sportster CS Recaro's too if I can't get the ones I'm after...

Dont you like the recaro pole positions ? you should be able too buy those and mounts and get £800 change easy !
They are proper buckets and comfortable too, not quite as user friendly as the r32s i would imagine.

I know what you mean mate, I do love the PP's having been out in Jonny's car a couple of times, I love their grip, but I've got 2 kids so I need to be able to fold them forward to get them in the back.  Plus I'd prefer the R32 seats for their OEM'ness!

J - Just to widen your options, you could also keep an eye out for some Mk5 R32 cloth seats, get some Interlagos cloth and get them professionally reupholstered, like wot I did. Unless you're fussed that the seat head logo displays .:R rather than GTI.
