I have also brimmed it, and then driven 1 mile home and turned the engine off many times, and the car has been fine.

Hope no one has any issues!   times 2

was in France in the summer in my Leon, proper brimmed it. Came back to the car after paying and found out a litre of fuel pissing out under the car. No idea what happpened. Havent brimmed it since lol

Top Cat:
the click on the nozzle tells you when it is full apart from room for expansion, in the warmer weather i believe it expands i read somewhere you are ok if you keep driving so it must expand when stationary.
however i have never understood why so many people brim it unless like StevePG above and you really need to too.

CocoPops:
I always brim it.

Greeners:
Never heard of this problem, and yes I always brim it until the second click!  :happy2:
