Rear door lock cap
« on: July 17, 2019, 02:32:12 pm »
My rear door cap/housing is loose. Any ideas how to sort it out. I tried the other door cap but it’s still loose. The screw from the side of the door is tight.

The screw rotates a ring with tabs that locks the cap in place. In your picture you can see one of the tabs in the hole at 8 o clock. Without putting the cap in, undo and do up the screw to see if the tab moves. If it does not you will have to take the door skin off and put the groove in the ring back in the correct position so that the screw moves it when tightening.
