RCD 510 problem
« on: April 13, 2014, 07:20:57 pm »
I fitted a RCD 510, it worked fine in the car it came out of previously. Now, when I start the car after 10 seconds the sound goes off, i turn the unit off then on and it works fine for any length of time.

It does this everytime without fail, any ideas?

If you know the stereo is good i would check the wiring, sometimes, like the sage advise offered by IT departments round the world turning it off then back on again (in this case unplugging the wiring) normally works.
