Was going to wait a couple of months and get it done at the same time the car was being serviced, not sure I can wait now though  :signLOL:

Did you guys who had their HPFP fitted also change your cam follower for an uprated one?
I've heard things can get very expensive if you don't  :jumping:

Just install a new standard one with the pump and check it every 7k miles or so...
Without traction power is nothing!

Thanks bacillus - I checked mine when I changed the pump and it looked as new - not the slightest mark.
It was one of your old posts that made me ask the question  :happy2:
Isn't there an uprated one available as checking every 7k will be ARPITA?!

How many miles have you done with your HPFP and are you gonna check it regularly?

Nice one  :happy2:
One thing I didn't want with all the extra mods was extra headache but it seems it's too late now

just done this myself . about 75% of the steps do not need to be done . if i was do do it again i would leave out removing thefollowing

remove fuel pipe unions
remove pressure releif valve
remove the end plate (the one with bleed nipple on)

all the above are just for cleaning , and it it has just come off a running engine (mine had) then it will be clean as petrol is 1 of the best degreasers in the world , plus you would save about a hours work , tuning the job into a half a hour job . plus as you are breaking seals there is more risk to leaks .

my 2p's worth anyways
