Moisture/dampness in boot (MK5 GTI)
«

My car boot is suffering from moisture and dampness and honestly, it’s driving me up the wall.
The boot carpet feels damp and when I left it up there is moisture everywhere around the spare wheel area.
What could be causing it?

Possibly rear light seals you can get a kit from VW.

Climb into the boot, shut the tailgate and get someone to soak the car with a hose whilst you check for leaks. Or better still, a pressure washer around all the gaps where water could get in.
