Seat Adjuster inlays with added colour

Seat Adjuster inlays with added colour  ,simply used silcone to seal base of inlay and then used red smooth gloss paint to finish the job, :evilgrin:

GTI painted red







sorry the photo's are not the best,easy job but a nice change from orginal

Nerver mind the inserts, where did you get the CF seat mouldings?

Left mine ''naked''.Fixed mine with those double sided sticky pads. :happy2:

Still got mine waiting to be fitted.  Along with a few other repairs.

How are you guys getting them to fit?  Finally got some Red Electrical Insulation tape as recommended.

Was going to stick the tape on the seat adjuster then work out how to get the inlay to stick to the tape.
No Golf anymore. 
Enjoyed the last five years of ownership of Mk5 & 6 GTIs.
Plus an excellent forum for knowledge and new ways to deplete the bank account.

Black 2007 gti, 18' monza 2, sat-nav, highline, i-pod dock, armrest, 35mm H&R springs, WALK, BCS tbe, autotech front and rear arbs, ITG maxogen, NQSBBK... and more to come

I think the top ones are fitted to the inlays in Recaro's and the inlay is shallower than the GTI/ED30 seats.  :happy2:

I was talking about the corners, look at the curves. In Hurdys pic they seem to fit perfect on the others the corners dont look right.
